Wave Capsizes Tourist Boat in Bali, Chaos Erupts as Passengers Smash Windows to Escape (Video)

Terrifying Moments as Boat Sinks Near Bali
A ferry carrying about 100 passengers from Bali to Nusa Lembongan turned into a scene of panic after being slammed by a powerful wave. The vessel capsized, triggering chaos onboard as passengers—many of them tourists—screamed, smashed windows, and scrambled to survive.

Trapped With Nowhere to Run
One Australian tourist, Andy Wood, was on board with his wife and two children. He described the horror:
“The one point of exit was literally a small little hatch,” Wood said. “People in the back, where the water was entering, were in a real panic state.”

Another woman reportedly broke a window just to escape the rising water. Some passengers floated in the sea while others clung to the boat’s bow, hoping for rescue.

No Deaths, But Overcrowding Under Investigation
Thankfully, no fatalities or serious injuries have been reported. However, reports suggest the boat may have been overcapacity, which is now under investigation.

Not the First Ocean Scare in Bali
This is just the latest in a string of water-related incidents in Bali. Just recently, a rogue wave nearly claimed the life of a travel influencer filming near Angel’s Billabong at Nusa Penida.
