**Angel Reese Voices Frustration Over Sky’s Struggles**
Angel Reese didn’t hold back in a recent interview with the *Chicago Tribune*, openly sharing her frustration with the Chicago Sky’s season. “I am very vocal about what we need and what I want,” she said. “I’d like to be here for my career, but if things don’t pan out, obviously I might have to move in a different direction and do what’s best for me.”
Reese’s remarks come during a difficult campaign for the Sky, despite a leadership change with former Las Vegas Aces assistant Tyler Marsh stepping in as head coach. Reese suggested Marsh needs to be more demanding in his role.
Marsh, however, maintained composure when asked about Reese’s comments. He stressed the importance of staying true to his coaching style while acknowledging the team’s overall disappointment. “I think that, you know, everyone is entitled to feel how they feel. The most important thing is staying authentic and genuine to who I am and letting that translate in whatever way it translates. But the overarching theme is that none of us are happy with where we’re at in terms of our record. That’s the core of the frustration, organizationally. We just have to keep pushing to finish the season strong and lay the foundation moving forward, seeing this season beyond just wins and losses,” he said in a post-game conference.
This situation continues to develop as the Sky look to regroup and build toward a stronger future.
