Jail time” – Paige Spiranac blasts woman for boldly walking away from dog’s mess

Paige Spiranac recently criticized a woman she encountered for letting her dog defecate on a public walkway without cleaning it up. Taking to social media, the golf influencer expressed her frustration over the incident and referred to the woman’s behavior as deserving of “jail time.”

Spiranac shared that she approached the woman and politely offered her a bag to clean up after her dog, even mentioning that there were free bags nearby. In response, the woman declined and even showed an empty bag she already had. When Spiranac asked if she was going to use it, the woman reportedly stared at her and simply said “nope” before walking away.

Beyond her social media presence—where she boasts over 4 million followers on Instagram and over 1 million on X (formerly Twitter)—Spiranac has been involved in various golf-related media events. She recently made an appearance at the Netflix premiere of Happy Gilmore 2, where she had a cameo alongside other golf figures in the sequel to the popular 1996 comedy.

As for the American Century Championship 2025, a celebrity golf tournament held from July 11 to 13, Spiranac did not participate. While she played in the 2022 edition, she was not invited back the following year. She previously revealed that organizers cited insufficient social media exposure as the reason for her exclusion, even though she claimed to have generated around four million impressions.

In the 2025 tournament, Joe Pavelski emerged as the winner with a final round score of 4-under 68, securing a nine-point victory over John Smoltz.

Spiranac was most recently seen at the third annual Creator’s Classic, an event hosted during Truist Championship week at Quail Hollow. Teaming up with Tyler Tony and Matt Scharff, her trio finished tied for second. The team of Marques Brownlee, Sean Walsh, and Sabrina Andolpho claimed victory in a playoff.
