There are rumours this week that Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is “underway” to sign a “very quick” player in January.

Spurs target Lange for a transfer

Johan Lange, the new sporting director, joined Spurs early last month from Aston Villa with the goal of leading the team through the crucial winter transfer window.

During his time in the Midlands, the Dane signed big names like Emiliano Martinez, the goalkeeper, and Ollie Watkins, the striker. Both players have since flourished under Unai Emery, and Spurs fans are now hoping he can duplicate that success at N17.

Prior to next month, Lange is allegedly looking for a new centre back and winger. Postecoglou’s defence is primarily interested in Tottenham’s Ben Godfrey, an Everton defender, and Juventus’.

During a press conference last month, Postecoglou affirmed that Tottenham is actively preparing for the upcoming transfer window, which opens in one month.

Since it hasn’t been staggered, I suppose the difficulty we faced was that they arrived all at once. Regarding January transfers, Postecoglou stated, “The planning is well away with that.”

“Johan [Lange] has arrived and is taking charge of all the preparatory work. Even though Johan has been leading it and has brought in some people to assist him in that area, work has been done in the background. My involvement and my own sort of ramp up to it as we get closer to January and understanding exactly what our requirements are at the moment. We’ll collaborate with when the time is appropriate, he.”

Regarding Iling-Junior, he’s a player who is increasingly being connected to a January transfer to Tottenham. Some reports state Lange is getting ready to make an offer for Iling-Junior, while others indicate Spurs are in the lead to sign the 20-year-old midseason.

Tottenham and Iling-Junior are in “underway” talks.

Il BiancoNero (via Sport Witness) reports that negotiations with Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli appear to have taken place in England, and Spurs are currently “underway” in their efforts to sign Iling-Junior. The winger “can move” to north London in January, according to the report, and based on other recent reports, it appears increasingly likely that he is headed to Tottenham.

The Englishman has struggled to get playing time in Turin, and it seems like Postecoglou’s team may be able to provide him with a realistic path to the Premier League.

Journalist Michele Neri claims that the “very quick” attacker, who has also been compared to Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich, is a huge fan favourite at Juventus.

Neri said to TNT Sports, “Iling Junior is a very quick player who loves to take on opposing full-backs and attack the vertical spaces, in a very direct way.”

He is a left winger with the ability to play right winger when necessary. He dribbles with great skill and has a speed from standing start that other Juventus players lack.

Leao when the AC Milan superstar was a bit younger. The fans went crazy for him after the Benfica game where he played 20 minutes and really shone, providing an assist to Milik.
