A number of teams are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool defender Conor Bradley, including Leeds United.

When the transfer window opens in January, Daniel Farke will declare that Leeds is looking for a new full-back. Given that Bradley plays on the right, this Bradley connection may come as a surprise.

Due to injuries, Leeds is now without a recognized left-back who is both fit and available in Sam Byram and Junior Firpo. On Tuesday, Djed Spence made his debut in that very spot at Sunderland.

But according to Team Talk, Leeds will compete with ‘dozen’ teams to recruit the 20-year-old, with Middlesbrough, Burnley, and West Brom among the interested parties.

After Bradley’s lack of playing time thus far this season, Liverpool are reportedly ready to send him out on loan in January. Bradley had such an amazing season in League One last year, winning the club’s player of the year award.

Though talented, Bradley is not what Leeds needs.

Earlier this season, Bradley’s old Bolton colleague Dion Charles praised the Liverpool young player as “incredible,” saying he can go as far as he wants in the game.

Despite his obvious talent, Bradley is not what Leeds needs in January considering how well-stocked their right-back position is.

Spence is currently a more better and more experienced player at this level, and Leeds will advance further if he returns to his preferred right-back position.

Jamie Shackleton and Luke Ayling have found it difficult to even start recent games, while Archie Gray has done a fantastic job filling in for Spence throughout the last few weeks.

Given Byram and Firpo’s injury woes, Leeds should be concentrating all of their emphasis on the other side of the defense; it would be weird to bring in another right-footed full-back.
