Due to a muscular injury, Giovani Lo Celso might be unable to play in Tottenham Hotspur’s matchup against Everton on Saturday.

After Yves Bissouma’s red card at the City Ground on Friday, Ange Postecoglou is likely to have few choices in the center of the park on Saturday.

After a late challenge on Ryan Yates, the Mali international was shown a straight red card in the 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.

Naturally, James Maddison and Rodrigo Bentancur will be out of the Spurs lineup till the new year.

Giovani Lo Celso, who has been playing well for Tottenham lately, was injured during practice and was unable to travel to the City Ground.

According to The Evening Standard, the Argentine midfielder is still doubtful for Saturday’s match.

Lo Celso might miss the Everton match.

According to the report, Lo Celso has a muscular strain and is currently doubtful for the match against Everton.

Postecoglou might then name a temporary midfield that includes Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Lo Celso is regarded as a “incredible” player and has demonstrated traits that suggest he might play a significant role in Postecoglou’s team.

The 27-year-old came off the bench for the victory over Newcastle earlier this month, having scored twice in his previous three starts.

However, it’s no secret that the midfield player has had injury problems while playing for Spurs.

In fact, he suffered a hamstring injury during his first start of the season at Fulham in August, which forced him to miss the entire campaign.

Tottenham currently lacks imaginative midfield alternatives due to Bissouma’s four-game suspension.

It would be a tremendous help if Lo Celso could play in Saturday’s game, and Postecoglou will be hoping that his injury is not too serious.
