After missing out on Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo during the summer, Tottenham Hotspur is still interested in signing him.

Tottenham Hotspur is interested in Tosin Adarabioyo as his Fulham contract is about to expire.

This is in line with Football London’s assertion that Tottenham is still interested in signing Adarabioyo.

Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven’s absences have made it clear that Tottenham needs to add defensive depth in January.

Many defenders are being linked to Spurs, and at least one new signing is anticipated in that position during the January transfer window.

Tosin Adarabioyo is still desired by Tottenham Hotspur.

Tosin Adarabioyo, defender for Fulham, was one of the most well-known names during the summer.

Adarabioyo was being courted by Spurs, but there were conflicting reports about his lack of interest.

According to The Independent, Tottenham was just not meeting his demands to relocate to North London.

Adarabioyo merely wanted to sign for Monaco, figuring they would give him more first-team football, as Foot Mercato pointed out in June.

In any case, Adarabioyo did not make a move before the summer transfer window closed, and Tottenham has reportedly kept pursuing him, according to Football London.

Adarabioyo’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, and there is no sign that he will sign a new one at Craven Cottage, leaving Spurs in dire need of a new defender.

With fresh contract negotiations ongoing, perhaps he can be persuaded to move to North London after all.

Why Adarabioyo is desired by Tottenham

Considering that Adarabioyo has only played two minutes of Premier League action this season, he might seem like an odd target.

Adarabioyo has been sidelined due to a groin injury, and he plans to return to full fitness before the January transfer window.

When it comes to his turn of pace, Adarabioyo is a tactical match for Ange Postecoglou.

Because of his speed, Micky van de Ven has been essential to Tottenham’s high line; Adarabioyo could be seen similarly.

At Manchester City, Pep Guardiola expressed admiration for Adarabioyo, saying he is “fast, faster than people can believe.”

Like Van de Ven, Adarabioyo has a tremendous physical presence. He is a homegrown player and stands 6 feet 5 inches tall.

Tottenham’s decision to make this move makes perfect sense when you consider Adarabioyo’s contract situation; however, they will need to hope that he is more interested now than he was in the summer.
