Samuel Iling-Junior, a target for Tottenham, is expected to fetch offers of up to £20 million this January, according to sources who spoke with Football Insider.

In an effort to fortify his team for the second half of the season, Ange Postecoglou has expressed interest in signing the 20-year-old winger to Spurs next month.

In order to improve their attacking options, the North London team sees Iling-Junior as the perfect complement to Postecoglou’s fast-paced style of play.

Spurs will be extremely encouraged by the likelihood that a £20 million bid will be approved during the next transfer window.

The star, who was born in London, participated in Chelsea’s academy before moving to Juventus in 2020 to play for the first team.

Despite the change, Iling-Junior has found it difficult to establish himself in Juventus’ starting lineup. In his three years in Italy, the youthful winger has made just 22 first-team appearances and scored just once.

It’s believed that the Serie A powerhouses are ready to take advantage of Iling-Junior this January in order to prevent his value from declining during the last 18 months of his contract.

In December of last year, he inked a contract extension with the Turin-based team that would last until 2025.

Juventus, however, has now put a £20 million asking price for his signing.

Due to Massimiliano Allegri’s limited options following Paul Pogba’s suspension, the Italian team is keen to let go of the young player as soon as possible in order to raise money for a new midfield addition.
