On Thursday night, Tottenham suffered a loss against West Ham once more.

Now that the North London team has lost their last five Premier League games, serious doubts are being raised about this team.

While some players have maintained their high standards and are performing exceptionally well, others have just not been good enough lately.

While analyzing Spurs’ performance against West Ham, Tim Sherwood expressed his opinion on Premier League Productions that Brennan Johnson isn’t doing enough for the team at the moment.

The £50 million man isn’t doing enough, according to Sherwood’s assessment.

It’s the inventiveness; they require someone with Maddison’s level of insight. Nobody else has the key to open the door for them. Sherwood stated, “I think Johnson is not doing enough, and Son was quiet tonight. Kulusevski does bits and pieces down the right hand side.

Letdown

Because Spurs has been performing so well this season, Brennan Johnson has escaped a lot of criticism; however, now that things have slowed down in north London, we might need to talk about his Spurs performances.

Even though the £50 million attacker is still only 22 years old, one goal in half a season really isn’t good enough, and he needs to get better.

Although you have to give new players some leeway because it takes them some time to adjust to their surroundings and settle in, Johnson is Spurs’ most expensive summer addition at £50 million. To be honest, though, you would probably argue that he was the worst acquisition the north London club made during the previous transfer window.

While players like Guglielmo Vicario, Micky Van de Ven, and James Maddison have adapted well, Johnson hasn’t done the same for some reason.
