Tottenham is about to reach a deal on a player’s renewal, and they plan to announce in the “next few days

A year after they and Udinese reached an agreement for his transfer, Destiny Udogie made his way to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.

In 14 league games this season, the left-back has managed two assists and one goal. He made an immediate impression on Ange Postecoglou, solidifying his position on the left side of defense.

The 21-year-old is expected to receive a new contract from Tottenham; Calciomercato has the most recent information on this matter.

The defender has already persuaded everyone at the north London club of his abilities in a matter of months. He made his Italy debut in October thanks in part to his performance for Tottenham.

The Spurs have decided to secure Udogie’s long-term future by extending his contract, which was set to expire in 2027, to 2029, with an additional year’s option. According to the report, he will make €2 million net annually under the new deal.

Calciomercato reports that Tottenham will make an announcement regarding the Italy international’s renewal in the “next few days,” suggesting that the two parties have already reached an agreement.

Before Udogie decided to sign with Spurs, Juventus and Inter Milan expressed interest in him. Calciomercato claims that, in light of Udogie’s recent performance, the Serie A teams will regret not signing him.
