For months, Tottenham has been looking to bolster its center-back lineup. Now, a significant transfer revelation from the player’s representative has revealed that negotiations are well advanced.

Dragusin’s agent Florin Manea has verified the details with the media portal Fanatik Superliga:

“A few days ago, I had a meeting with them in London. They are also at the game that I am attending today, Genoa vs. Juventus. Let’s see, promising indications. The people there want to move him. He did not sign Genoa’s extension. It’s not an extension, in my opinion.”

If Tottenham is able to sign Dragusin, that would be a huge boost for them in January. According to Fanatik Superliga, the footballer is reportedly keen in go to English football and believes he would fit in well there.

“I will grow and evolve to my full potential in the Premier League… I watch the tournament, and I intend to participate there in the future.”

The right-footed center back, who is only 21 years old, has played 58 games for Genoa in all competitions and has 12 caps for the Romania national team.

This evening’s match between Genoa and Juventus could determine whether or not Tottenham signs a player this upcoming transfer window. Should the transfer go place, Dragusin might play alongside Cristian Romero in the defense line until the preferred Micky van de Ven returns, at which point the Serie A player might establish himself as a reliable backup for the starting lineup.
