The Brazilian has made 297 appearances for Lazio and has tallied 54 goals and 62 assists. Some excellent figures for Anderson. Following the breakdown of negotiations for an extension with his current team, the 30-year-old may be returning.

Many of Postecoglou’s important players won’t be available in January. Heung-min Son is going to be leaving to prepare for the Asian Cup with the South Korean national squad. Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr will also be departing to take part in the Africa Cup of Nations.

In an attempt to maintain his midfield, Postecoglou is in critical need of assistance since James Maddison is sidelined due to an injury. When he waits for his players to regain health, the Australian coach should find it easier to cover the hole with Anderson’s presence.

When you take into account the problems the squad has encountered, the Spurs have had a fantastic season. They will now actively seek for fresh talent in January as the look to cover all the cracks left behind by injuries.

In the Premier League, Anderson has already demonstrated his abilities. There’s no doubt that Tottenham’s spirits will rise with the arrival of an experienced playmaker.

Now, in order to witness their Lilywhites lift the Premier League trophy, management needs to take the appropriate actions.
