Chelsea is getting ready for a unique midweek match as they get ready to host Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge for a Carabao Cup match. After advancing through three rounds, the Blues will play Newcastle in the quarterfinals, just a few weeks after losing 4-1 to the same team.

After defeating Sheffield United for the first time in three Premier League games, Mauricio Pochettino’s team advances to the cup final. The Blues have only won nine games at Stamford Bridge this year, but they have won at home in every round so far, and they may carry on that trend on Tuesday.

Although it is debatable whether Christopher Nkunku will play his first competitive minutes for the West Londoners, he will once again be selected in the matchday squad. Pochettino will have been encouraged by the return of a senior player to training at London Cobham on Monday in addition to the France international.
