The defender for Tottenham Hotspur, Sergio Reguilon, has been linked to a January transfer because he is going through a difficult time in his career.

The 27-year-old defender may soon return to his original club even though he is presently on loan at Manchester United. The defender is reportedly under consideration by the Italian team, according to a report from Il Romanista.

Regarding the transfer, Roma manager Jose Mourinho has already “given his approval” to the Italian team. Reguilon is described in the study as a “very versatile” defender with remarkable technical skills. The 27-year-old Spanish defender is capable of playing both left and wing back positions. In addition to his defensive prowess, he is a valuable forward player.

In the latter part of the season, the Italian team may find him to be a valuable addition. Whether Roma chooses to sign him on a season-long loan or not is still up in the air.

For them, it might turn out to be a cheap transfer. Reguilon may soon be permanently signed by Roma if he makes an impression in the Italian league.

Having worked with the defender, Mourinho will be well-versed in his qualities, making him the perfect manager to bring out the best in the Spaniard.

Throughout his career, the Portuguese manager has shown his abilities at elite teams, making him a top-tier talent. Throughout his coaching career, he has brought out the best in a number of players, and Reguilon will be hoping that the Roma manager will help him get his career back on track.
