About a year ago, Leeds United was connected to recruit Ardon Jashari, the captain of Luzern, but he decided to stay with the Swiss team. Currently, West Ham United and Luzern are in negotiations to sign the midfield player.
After entering Luzern’s senior team from the academy and winning the club leadership, the two-time Swiss star has had an incredible few years, playing in 83 games and contributing to 16 goals.
Leeds considered moving as a result of this form before January 2022. Leeds, Celtic, Napoli, Leipzig, and Frankfurt were reportedly interested in Jashari, a member of Switzerland’s 2022 World Cup team.
However, the midfielder has stuck with Luzern, where he has maintained his form and made an impression in his native nation while playing regularly in the first team. That is true even though his asking price was between £5.3 million and £6.2 million a year ago.
Swiss retailer According to Solothurner Zeitung, Jashari is drawing interest once more. Three teams, including West Ham of the Premier League, are reportedly in negotiations to recruit him. Villarreal and Freiburg are also.

Leeds and Ardon Jashari were connected in 2022: West Ham is currently in negotiations.
Although the Hammers have choices in the middle of the park after selling Declan Rice, they still need to buy a quality player to take the place of the excellent midfield player from Arsenal. Jashari is a promising young talent.
No matter where he goes, he needs game time. He wouldn’t be starting for the Hammers, but he would get some at West Ham. You could contend that he had trouble getting off to a slow start at Leeds as well. Someone to watch out for.
Leeds has a strong midfield lineup that includes Ilia Gruev, Archie Gray, Glen Kamara, and Ethan Ampadu. Some have even asserted that Leeds’ midfield this year is superior to that of previous. Jashari, though, is undoubtedly talented.
