In a pivotal match in the battle for promotion to the Premier League, Leeds United will host Ipswich Town on Saturday at Elland Road. Pascal Struijk has issued a message to supporters today.

Perhaps trying to rally the club’s support, Struijk has taken to Instagram ahead of this weekend’s trip. Leeds needs encouragement badly after our past two games ended in defeat.

After a draw at home against Coventry and a loss to Sunderland, Leicester and Ipswich were able to widen the distance between the top two teams and the play-offs. Leeds now trails Ipswich by ten points.

a massive 13 behind league leaders Leicester, who are still very good under Enzo Maresca’s direction. The 24-year-old Struijk has led Leeds in 11 of his 23 games this season and has been a great player for the team.

On Thursday morning, the Dutch defender posted a six-word message to Leeds supporters on his story on Instagram. “Big one coming up on Saturday,” he tells his supporters, indicating that Saturday is a significant game.

Before the Ipswich match, Pascal Struijk sends a message to the Leeds supporters.

It’s enormous. If Leeds loses, they will trail both Leicester and the top two by 13 points. If we win, the difference will drop to seven points, which will boost our confidence heading into the second part of the campaign.

In addition to Ethan Ampadu, who has also been speaking about the promotion race this season, Joe Rodon states he is not worried. Both mention how many games remain, but they will both be aware that this Saturday’s matchup is crucial.

Junior Firpo is anticipated to return to Leeds, although Djed Spence will undoubtedly remain on the left side of defence. While Jamie Shackleton may be able to make the squad, Sam Byram is still anticipated to be absent.
