Prior to the deadline, Tottenham had a four-man transfer shortlist ready.

A four-man shortlist has apparently been compiled by Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the transfer deadline.

Although Premier League clubs have had a relatively quiet transfer window thus far, Spurs—who have already added Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin—may be in for a busy finish.

The team led by Ange Postecoglou has a good chance of placing in the top four and possibly winning the league.

Currently,  Spurs are eight points behind leaders Liverpool and are in fifth place, three points behind Aston Villa in fourth.

It was recently claimed that Tottenham was trying to sign Antonio Nusa of Club Brugge, but Brentford, a rival team in London, had other ideas.

The Bees have reached a £25 million agreement to bring Nusa to the Gtech Community Stadium, according to Sky Sports.

Nusa will spend the rest of the 23–24 season on loan back to the Belgian team.

Spurs have reportedly been given four more options to consider before the deadline on Thursday, having lost out on Nusa.

The Daily Express reports via Team Talk that Samuel Iling-Junior, who has been making an impression at Serie A powerhouse Juventus, may be the focus of interest for Spurs.

It has been suggested that Juventus might be persuaded to sell with a bid of about €25 million.

Matias Soule, the teammate of ADVERT Iling-Junior, is also rumored to be on the shortlist.

In addition to the two Juventus players, Sebastian Szymanski of Fenerbahce, who has scored 17 goals in just 24 games this season, is another player who Postecoglou is reportedly interested in.

Finally, Spurs may express interest in Al Ittihad star Jota, a player Postecoglou will likely be familiar with having worked with the Australian at Celtic.

Jota merely made a summer transfer to the Saudi Professional League, but it’s been publicly known that he wants to play football in Europe again.
