Lucas Paqueta, the star player for West Ham United, just had dinner with a well-known manager in London.

Lucas Paqueta has not appeared for West Ham since our FA Cup match against Bristol City at the London Stadium on January 7th, and he is now sidelined due to injury.

The Brazilian has been outstanding for the Hammers this season, but his personal campaign has been turbulent as a result of an ongoing investigation into possible betting violations.

Paqueta hasn’t been a member of the Brazil national team roster for the last six months or so due to the findings of that study.

However, a recent rumor from O Globo’s Diogo Dantas stated that he would be considered for the upcoming squad that new Brazil manager Dorival Junior announces.

And it appears that the 61-year-old Samba Boys coach is now committed to building a strong rapport with the former Lyon player.

According to the Brazilian media outlet, the 61-year-old has the full support of the Brazilian national team federation to select the Hammers player for his next squads against Spain and England.

On a personal note, Paqueta will benefit greatly by rejoining the Brazil national team.

For him right now, though, returning to maximum condition is crucial in order to play again for West Ham.

The former Lyon star has been sorely missed by the Hammers, who have fallen down the Premier League standings in his absence.

Given that the new manager obviously wants Lucas Paqueta back in the lineup, if he returns to performing at his peak for West Ham anytime soon, he will undoubtedly be included in the Brazil national team roster.
