Stars of the DP World Tour all comment on amateur results in the Hero Indian Open in the same way.

At this week’s Hero Indian Open location, DLF G&CC, an eighteen-handicap golfer would get absolutely nothing near breaking 100, according to some of the finest players on the DP World Tour.

Actually, most of the players surveyed believe that a golfer with an 18-handicap would finish with a score that is closer to 120 than 100.

Expert estimates closer to 150, or even 160!

An eighteen-handicapper might be left declaring the course DNF G&CC, according to two!

Most golfers off the 18th hole would aim to shoot 90 to play to their handicap, given the par of 72.

Anything superior to that is an added benefit.

However, DP World Tour pros say that anything around 100 would be regarded a miracle around DLF G&CC.

Why then is the DLF G&CC, created by Gary Player, such a rigorous test?

To begin with, at just over 7,200 yards, it’s not the world’s shortest course.

The ability to navigate the golf course’s stunning landscaping and bunkering, however, is the true test.

Take a look at this bunker, for instance!

This is a difficult place for even DP World Tour pros to play, as they have for the previous four Indian Opens.
