April 1, 2024

This is the final significant change to the Masters futures odds until the following week. The major events give outright odds to win well in advance, if you’re new to golf betting. For instance, you might have wagered twice as much on Scottie Scheffler’s current odds to win the Masters in early February. I can’t help but wonder what changes to the Masters odds will be made for next Monday as we concentrate on the Valero Texas Open.

Now wager on Joaquin Niemann.

In 2024, Joaquin Niemann has won two LIV competitions. Right now, his chances of winning the Masters are 31-1. I would wager on Niemann before LIV Miami begins today if you want him to win a green jacket. If he manages to win a podium or a third time, his chances of winning will decrease on Monday. Joaquin’s odds will probably remain unchanged if he has a typical week at Doral.

Corey Conners has a Masters futures board odds of 110-1. Following two consecutive top 20 finishes (API, PLAYERS), the two-time Valero winner and reigning champion is moving into a zone in which he feels completely at ease. In the last four years, Conners has finished in the top 10 at Augusta.

Seize him right now if you think he’s ready for another late Sunday run. His chances of winning on Monday will be greatly reduced by a strong week at TPC San Antonio.

Hold off on placing a wager on Jordan Spieth.

Markets have the ability to go both ways. Assume you have an obsession with Jordan Spieth. There are a lot of bettors and golf aficionados at the Masters. He’s in the field at the Valero right now, with a 21-1 record. Spieth has now missed two consecutive cuts (Players, Valspar). Given his form, his odds don’t appear very good. You should wait if you want to take Jordan at Augusta National next week.

His chances of missing another cut will be significantly worse than if he wins in San Antonio. Jordan’s worth will increase on Monday if he performs poorly once more.

The futures markets are really entertaining and bustling. I am constantly searching for betting value at Read The Line. Any opportunities that capture our notice will be highlighted every week as part of the content found on Monday Odds Drop.

Recall that on Monday morning of a significant week, the futures odds expire as the week turns. You may boost your interest in the Masters by finding some bargain at Valero and entering the futures game by next Monday!
