Here is our rating of the Spurs players after the first 45 minutes of their Premier League match against Newcastle United this afternoon at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Ben Davies: Isak was denied a tap-in at the back post with just enough resistance from his sliding challenge. His ball distribution has been passable. 7.
Destiny Udogie: Played a nice flick of a half chance to Richarlison, Destiny Udogie. brilliantly carried the ball into the Newcastle area, but instead of taking the more obvious shot on goal, she attempted to pass. After a clever exchange with Son, he opened the score a few minutes later. 8.

Heung-min Son: Richarlison moved into the middle while he played on the left. played a beautiful pass across the six-yard box that allowed Udogie to score the first goal. flipped Trippier on his head to earn his second assist of the match, setting Richarlison up. 7.
Brennan Johnson: When he lost the ball in his own half and Almiron did not penalize him, he was greatly exonerated. Release the ball sooner is necessary, particularly when crossing. Before the half, I saw an attempt go the wrong way. 6.
