Chelsea might put up for sale The England international would be greeted at the Premier League’s biggest clubs by Conor Gallagher and former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara.

If this isn’t the result of what I did, then whatever.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Conor Gallagher may be sacrificed in January as Chelsea looks to avoid potential Financial Fair Play sanctions. Todd Boehly may soon learn the hard way that months of throwing money around recklessly has a cost.

Tottenham Hotspur is showing interest (again).

Conor Gallagher

Tottenham plans to raid Chelsea for Conor Gallagher.

According to The Standard, Chelsea held out for £50 million after Ange Postecoglou’s team’s £40 million deadline day attempt to acquire Gallagher in September failed.

Furthermore, O’Hara would be pleased if Galagher joined Spurs from their neighbors in London, becoming the first player to do so since Carlo Cudicini in 2008.

O’Hara, who won the League Cup with Spurs fifteen years ago, says of Gallagher, “I really like him,” on talkSPORT (12 December, 9.40am).

“He moves around the pitch with amazing energy.” He doesn’t have quite the same star quality as James Madison, but he still exudes energy. And Ange Postecoglou is someone who enjoys high energy, as you have seen.

Gallagher has been a shining light for Chelsea during yet another difficult season. Possibly their best player in Sunday’s 2-0 loss to Everton. Additionally, Postecoglou’s squad might have room for another hard-working, box-to-box midfield player given Rodrigo Bentancur’s ongoing injury problems and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s impending departure in 2024.

Ideal for the Postecoglou

O’Hara continues, “I would be surprised if Chelsea let him go.” He has played a significant role on their team. Raheem Sterling, Cole Palmer, and only him have made any progress!

“But yes, we will take him if they want to sell.”

But a center-half seems to be Tottenham’s top priority in January as opposed to a central midfielder. Spurs want assistance for Cristian Romero, who is addicted to cards, and Micky van de Ven, who is injured. Potential contenders include Malick Thiaw of AC Milan, Koki Machida, and Sebastian Caceres.
