He has transformed Spurs into a strong and dynamic team that appears potential of finishing in the top four. He has been a revelation at N17 and in the Premier League overall.
Under Postecoglou, the Tottenham players also appear to be becoming better and generally liking their time with him. Gil praised him, therefore this is undoubtedly the case.
The Spaniard remarked, “I don’t think I’ve ever had a coach who’s such a good speaker or motivator before matches.” Before we get onto the pitch, he gives us all an immense amount of confidence.
“Tactically, he’s excellent too. I’ve stated before that I’ve never seen a team play like ours.
“I feel a big part of that is down to Ange, and I think the results have come along with that this season when we’ve been in good form.”
Ange Postecoglou has Tottenham Hotspur moving in the right direction.
Hearing Gil shout Postecoglou’s praises is fantastic. In addition to being an excellent manager and coach, he also has a wonderful sense of character and is a truly pleasant guy.
Tottenham is obviously far from perfect, as evidenced by the injury problems that disrupted their momentum that was leading the table. There’s going to be a lot of effort.
But when you take into account how bad Spurs were the previous season and how much better they have been this year (even with injuries), it is evident how terrific Postecoglou is and how they are headed in the right direction.
