Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, a midfielder for Tottenham Hotspur, has been connected to a departure from the team in recent weeks.

The 28-year-old has been linked to teams like Juventus and Napoli after he fell down the ladder at the north London club.

According to a report from Fichajes, Tottenham is reportedly unwilling to allow the player to go on loan and has now set a price for his services. The Denmark international’s suitors will need to shell out £20 million to sign him.

Ever since he moved from Southampton to Tottenham, Hojbjerg has been a vital member of the first team. In all competitions, he has made 159 appearances for them. But under new boss Ange Postecoglou, he is no longer in favor.

The Denmark international is not the best fit for the Australian’s free-flowing attacking style of play. Instead, the Australian manager has decided to depend on Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma.

Without a doubt, Hojbjerg is still a top-notch midfield player who might help most teams in the world of football. He is the kind of player that teams like Juventus and Napoli could really use.

After the Paul Pogba debacle, Juventus needs to add a midfield player in January, while Napoli needs to add more depth in the middle of the park, particularly after summer acquisition Tanguy Ndombele failed to impress.

Hojbjerg has demonstrated his abilities in the Premier League, and if the right opportunity arises, he might be persuaded to relocate to Italy. In the upcoming weeks, it will be intriguing to watch if his suitors are prepared to make the payment.
