Leeds United is reportedly interested in loaning David Brooks from Bournemouth. The Whites are looking to recruit players in January to support Daniel Farke’s goal of earning automatic promotion.

After a challenging couple of years dealing with cancer, 26-year-old Brooks is back in action. However, the Wales star has overcome the problems and is back in the game. As of today, he has performed 14 times in 2023–2024.

The past several months have seen a number of transfer fights between Leeds and Bournemouth. They were both interested in Karl Darlow. Max Aarons decided at the last minute on Bournemouth.

Of course, Jaidon Anthony and Luis Sinisterra switched sides in the last few minutes of the summer window. Tyler Adams, the captain of the United States, signed with the Cherries for an estimated £23 million.

Alex Crook of TalkSPORT now suggests Leeds might consider making another assault on Bournemouth. He says that Brooks, a former Sheffield United player, is eager to go on loan to Leeds and Southampton in January.

David Brooks, a standout from Bournemouth, is wanted by Leeds and Southampton.

Brooks is a very good player who has already crossed our path. According to rumors, Argentine icon Marcelo Bielsa thought Brooks would be “perfect” for us. However, nothing happened.

Does Leeds require a second winger? Not at this moment. Dan James, Ian Poveda, Willy Gnonto, Cree Summerville, and Anthony are all from Leeds. Brooks, though, is more than a winger. He may also play at the number ten position.

Leeds does need someone in that role. A playmaker, as they were unable to sign one during the summer despite signing Matt O’Riley and Nadiem Amiri. Brooks would be a fantastic addition to the Championship team.
