Mohammed Kudus liked a target for West Ham United’s Instagram post from yesterday, which showed that he was considering his options.

After acquiring Mohammed Kudus from Ajax in the summer, David Moyes of West Ham now appears eager to bolster his attacking core with yet another elite player.

Tim Steidten, the director of football for the Hammers, was instrumental in luring the 23-year-old to the team in the summer.

And in 24 appearances for West Ham thus far, Kudus has lit up the Premier League with 10 goals and 1 assist (Who Scored).

The Ghanaian has been a tremendous hit, and now that Steven Bergwijn is reportedly the Hammers boss’s January transfer market priority, Moyes may be about to launch yet another attack on Ajax.

In November of last year, West Ham was first mentioned as a potential suitor for the 26-year-old former Tottenham winger.

Then, the rumours have been gaining traction ever since they arose a few days ago. And I predict that they will now accelerate even farther..

Mohammed Kudus enjoys the Instagram post from the West Ham target.

The 23-year-old and Bergwijn had a really good playing relationship together at Ajax the previous season. Between them, they scored 23 goals and provided nine assists in 62 Eredivisie games.

Both Kudus and I, I believe, would like Bergwijn at the London Stadium. And it appears that the Netherlands international has a strong possibility of joining the Hammers.

Bergwijn sent a photo to his Instagram account yesterday, accompanied by the emoji of a thinking cloud:

The fact that Kudus liked the post indicates to me that the Ghanaian international still wants to play for his old teammate at the London Stadium, which is a clear indication that he is seriously considering his future.

In January 2020, Tottenham acquired him from PSV Eindhoven for an approximate sum of £30 million, which included add-ons (ESPN). Two and a half years later, for £26 million, he left Spurs after failing to make an impression (Sky Sports).

The 32-cap Holland international is a versatile player who can operate at any position along the front line, which would greatly enhance our attacking options.

He is a tremendously straight runner with plenty of pace, and in his 20 games for Ajax this season, he has eight goals and three assists (Transfermarkt).

I hope Mohammed Kudus is trying to convince him to join to West Ham! We might be a serious force this season if Moyes adds Bergwijn to his current attacking lineup.
