In a transfer update on The Guardian, Steinberg says the Scot is happy to get rid of four Hammers players who cost the club the whopping total.

Steinberg states that Moyes is ‘happy’ to let £30m Nayef Aguerd to go amid fresh interest from Saudi.

The Scot will also wave goodbye to £25m signing Said Benrahma, fellow midfielder Pablo Fornals – who cost West Ham £24m from Villarreal – and £15m flop striker Danny Ings.

Boss ‘happy’ to offload Hammers four

“Aguerd joined West Ham from Rennes for £28m in the summer of 2022 and played a role in the club’s triumph in the Europa Conference League last season,” Steinberg reports.

“But the centre-back, who is part of Morocco’s African Cup of Nations squad, has made a number of costly errors this season and has had interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League since last summer.

“Moyes, who is expected to sign a new two-and-a-half year deal soon, is ready to replace Aguerd if a replacement is available…

“West Ham are prepared to listen to offers for the Algeria winger Saïd Benrahma and the Spain midfielder Pablo Fornals. Wolves want the former Aston Villa striker, Danny Ings, on loan.”

Now it’s just about finding takers and getting deals done. Which is easier said than done in January.

One thing is for certain it should be a very interesting window indeed as Moyes continues to reshape his squad.
