Following weeks of conjecture and debate, it appears that Tottenham Hotspur has made their first transfer window acquisition of the January transfer window after Fabrizio Romano made his well-known “Here we go” announcement regarding the Radu Dragusin deal.

We’ve known for a while that Tottenham’s top goal in the winter transfer window will be to sign a new center back, and Radu Dragusin has been identified as a top target (Telegraph).

Spurs have moved quickly to address Ange Postecoglou’s limited alternatives in the central defense area as a result of the injuries to Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven.

Every stage of the Dragusin transfer to the Spurs has been reported by Fabrizio Romano. Initially, it was said that Postecoglou had sanctioned the transfer and that the Lilywhites had reached a personal terms agreement with the player.

The race for Radu Dragusin is won by Tottenham.

As Bayern Munich tried to sabotage the deal, Romano hinted on Tuesday that the transfer will be announced “very soon,” but he did not say the three words we have all been waiting for.

At last, we have the closest thing to an official statement as Romano has approved the transfer with his signature “Here we go” seal.

Dragusin has selected Spurs over Bayern Munich, according to Romano, with the Lilywhites having improved their €30 million proposal over night. To sweeten the pot, Djed Spence will also go on loan to Genoa.

I’m eager to see what Radu Dragusin can achieve in the Premier League and it feels great to have our biggest vulnerability addressed so early in the transfer season. He has proven to be a highly skilled player in Italy, and we are all aware of the outcome of our previous attempt to sign a Serie A center-half.
