It’s rumored that Leeds United is taking its time signing the players they wish to this month.

Leeds is ready to wait until later to sign their first choice targets, much as they did over the summer, when they signed five of their nine players in the latter two weeks of the transfer window.

Leeds is reportedly waiting for the transfer dominoes to fall in their favor before making available the players they truly want to recruit, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Connor Roberts of Burnley, who is reportedly eager to join Elland Road given that three of his Wales international teammates are already there, may be one of them.

Kieffer Moore of Bournemouth, meanwhile, may not be a candidate for Leeds’ approach given that manager Andoni Iraola is reportedly “reluctant” to let him go this month, according to the Telegraph.

Moore’s current status at Bournemouth is all Leeds is reportedly aware of at this time. Moore has started just two games this season overall and has largely been a bit-part player.

Though they might be thwarted by Bournemouth’s current position, a number of other Championship teams, such as Cardiff City and Sunderland, do have a more serious interest in the 31-year-old.

Moore is one of several Wales internationals who are allegedly being watched by Leeds this month, along with the previously mentioned Roberts. David Brooks and Chris Mepham are also rumored to be targets.

Naturally, Bournemouth is also home to Brooks and Mepham. Jaidon Anthony is now on loan from Leeds for the remainder of the season, and both players are at Bournemouth.

Though Iraola will stop at nothing to keep Moore at the team, Leeds may have to focus elsewhere if they intend to recruit a striker this month.
