£165k a week, according to Ange Postecoglou A Tottenham player is questionable for tomorrow’s trip to Manchester United.

Cristian Romero’s Premier League trip to Manchester United on Sunday may have come too soon, according to Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou.

Speaking to football.london, the Spurs manager stated that the £165,000-per-week defender has just recently resumed training after being sidelined by an injury.

Romero hasn’t played for Tottenham since shortly before Christmas, despite being a crucial member of the team once more this year.

Due to a hamstring strain, the Argentina international had to leave the game at halftime during Spurs’ 2-1 victory over Everton last month.

Romero then missed Tottenham’s matches against Brentford and Brighton in the Premier League, as well as the team’s 1-0 FA Cup victory over Burnley on Friday.

Cristian Romero of Tottenham thinks his trip to Man United “might be a bit close.”

The 25-year-old is recovering and back in training, Postecoglou was able to confirm, but it’s highly doubtful that he’ll play as early as Sunday.

The manager of Tottenham also gave updates on Giovani Lo Celso, Dane Scarlett, and Ben Davies, who have all regrettably sustained injuries.

Ben Davies pulled out last week due to a hamstring injury; Postecoglou estimated that he would be out for about a month.

Gio Lo Celso is comparable, but his condition is more difficult to diagnose, so we’ll send him for testing on Monday, but for now, he’s out.

“Dane Scarlett is out due to an injury he sustained during training. Gio’s muscle and Dane’s hamstring are both injured muscles.

Romero is the only one who I believe has joined the main group today. It’s reasonable to say that since he’s just started training, this weekend could be a little close.

Spurs’ form slump in November and the first part of December has mostly been overcome. They just prevailed in the FA Cup third round and have now won four of their previous five league games.

Romero will probably miss the Man United match, which is unfortunate, but at least he’s back in training and should be back playing soon.
