Tanguy Ndombele, a midfield player for Tottenham Hotspur, is now on loan at Galatasaray, and the North London team may try to bring him back.

According to a report from Football Transfers, Tottenham is reportedly having “internal discussions” about the French midfielder and may try to get him back to bolster their roster.

The north London team was expecting to recruit Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher, but the negotiations have not gone smoothly thus far.

Undoubtedly, Tottenham needs to bolster their midfield, and bringing Ndombele back to the team would be a cheap solution. While on foreign duty, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr are absent, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been connected to a departure.

Since joining the Premier League team in 2019, the French midfielder has had a lackluster tenure and has struggled to maintain a regular starting position under several managers.

Playing for Spurs in the second part of the season may appeal to the player if Ange Postecoglou is ready to offer him plenty of first team opportunity.

The midfielder hasn’t had the best of seasons with the Turkish team, but he definitely possesses the technical skills to become an important member of Tottenham’s starting lineup.

Whether the Australian manager can bring out the best in him will be interesting to watch.

During his time in France, he was considered a world-class talent, and if Tottenham can realize his full potential, he might fix their midfield issues without needing to make any more investments.

The midfield player spent approximately £63 million to join Tottenham, and he has spent three loan stints away from the team. It is unclear how things will turn out, but he will be trying to resolve his future once and for all.
