Tottenham “will make every effort” to sign Ange’s top target. Manager of Spurs is “very keen,” with a €35m fee

Spurs have reportedly set their sights on signing Sebastian Szymański of Fenerbahçe, according to a Turkish newspaper.

He has played 33 games this season, mostly as an attacking midfielder but also occasionally in the middle of the pitch. He has 12 goals and 14 assists. Due of this, he has drawn interest from Spurs and other European teams.

Star Gazetesi claims that Tottenham scouts observed the 24-year-old in action on Sunday against Samsunspor and will provide a report on him.

In his team’s 1-1 tie, the Poland international played 80 minutes but failed to score or provide an assist.

Ange Postecoglou is reportedly “very keen” on the player and hopes to have him available for the upcoming campaign. The story goes on to say that the North London team “will do everything possible” to try and get Szymański on board.

Last summer, the Yellow Canaries paid €9.75 million to capture the Pole from Dynamo Moscow and extended their contract offer to 2027. According to Star Gazetesi, Fenerbahçe’s management is firmly on the bullish side and hopes to receive €35 million from his sale.

That request is likely beyond of Tottenham’s asking price range, so they won’t comply.
