According to a source, Arsenal supporters should keep a watch on one player during the last few days of the January transfer window, as it appears the Gunners may be thinking about making a late deal.

For Mikel Arteta’s side, it’s been a quiet window thus far. Arsenal won just twice in their last eight games across all competitions on Saturday, but they haven’t made a single acquisition since.

The Gunners do seem to be in a challenging position because of sustainability and profit. There isn’t much money to spend, as seen by the loan signing of David Raya at the conclusion of the summer.

Kyle Walker-Peters might be noticed by Arsenal.

Nonetheless, it appears that Arsenal is continuing to monitor possible targets. Additionally, Kyle Walker-Peters is a player whom Gunners supporters should keep an eye on, per a TEAMtalk article.

Arsenal Walker-Peters

Since leaving Tottenham for Southampton for £12 million, the 26-year-old has performed admirably. Furthermore, thus far this season, he has not missed a minute of the Championship.

In the summer, Walker-Peters was being watched by Arsenal. Walker-Peters has been linked to Chelsea, and Mauricio Pochettino appears to be interested in getting back together with the full-back.

Summer bid is undoubtedly far more likely.

Walker-Peters might not be Arsenal’s most notable acquisition. He can, however, play any full-back position with great ease. He made his Spurs Premier League debut at left-back, demonstrating his skill on that side of the field.

Walker-Peters has been called a “beautiful” football player by Russell Martin. Considering that he is competing in the second division, Southampton is probably not going to be interested in selling him for a low price.

Therefore, it is unexpected that Arsenal is being mentioned as a possible Walker-Peters fan before the window closes.

It seems more likely that the Gunners will act in the summer than before the end of next week if they are going to take action.
