Spurs negotiations for a signing are “progressing well” Club wants to close a deal this winter for a “record” amount.

According to rumors circulating in Belgium over the past few days, Tottenham Hotspur is interested in signing Antonio Nusa of Club Brugge during the winter transfer window.

Het Nieuwsblad revealed this weekend that other teams are also keeping an eye on the winger, not just Spurs.

The 18-year-old’s interest in Tottenham is discussed in Thursday’s Gazet van Antwerpen, a story that focuses on the Jupiler Pro League teams’ transactions thus far this month.

Thus far, the Belgian clubs have raised a record €73 million through sales. If Nusa and Daniel Muñoz were to be sold to the north London club and Crystal Palace, respectively, the price might increase even further.

It’s said that there may still be “some movement” in the Norway international because Ange Postecoglou’s team is eager to get him.

The report claims Nusa’s contract expires in 2026 and that Club Brugge is seeking €30 million in exchange for him. Given that the “negotiations are ongoing” between the two teams, this may be from Tottenham.

The player plans to remain at Club Brugge for the remainder of the campaign. If Spurs were to complete his signing during this window, he might return on loan.

Sacha Tavolieri supports all of this, saying in a Thursday midday update that “talks are progressing” between the two clubs and that the goal is to complete the transaction this winter “for an arrival in the summer.”

When it comes to the price, Brugge wants to beat the “record” set by Charles de Ketelaere, who was transferred to AC Milan for a sum of €36 million plus bonuses.

This season, Nusa has made 27 appearances, tallying four goals and three assists.
