Crysencio Summerville did not play in today’s FA Cup match between Plymouth Argyle and Leeds United.

Their fellow Championship opponents, who have yet to win on the road this season, held the Whites to a 1-1 draw.

Jaidon Anthony, who took Summerville’s place on the left this afternoon, opened the score in a commanding first half, but Leeds’ poor second half performance earned them the worst possible outcome. Leeds will now travel to Bristol City, Swansea, and Plymouth twice in the upcoming month.

Apart from the trio of Dan James, Archie Gray, and Pascal Struijk, who were already injured, Summerville was the only player of the regular first team who was not present at all.

After rumors circulated before to the game that Summerville was just rested, Daniel Farke has finally revealed the true reason for Summerville’s lack of participation in his post-match interview.

“Gray out, James out, and Summerville felt adductor problems,” he remarked. group size not very large. Every player in the group who is available. The third goalie was given that place. It is not an issue if you have games with two stoppers.

Even though Anthony put up a respectable goal and performance, Leeds really lost Summerville today because no one else in the team can replace his weekly output.

But even if Leeds won’t have preferred an FA Cup rematch, Summerville’s rest was the right move because they can’t afford to lose him for an extended amount of time.

With James already expected to miss the next several weeks, Summerville has already tallied 12 goals and seven assists this season. It would be unfortunate if they were both sidelined at the same time.

In any event, perhaps he won’t be off for too long and Summerville will be available when Leeds play Bristol City in their league opener next Friday.
