And according to Fabrizio Romano, the South American prospect has just now turned down a €30m (£25m) offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad to remain in Europe with Juventus.

Whilst some talented youngsters have made the controversial decision to move to Saudi Arabia, namely former Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga, Soule has bucked the trend to remain on the continent.

And for Tottenham, Soule rejecting Saudi Arabia is massive for the north London side’s chances of signing the Argentine in the summer, where the youngster could be a top target.
