Abdoulaye Doucoure is expected to be absent for Everton’s Premier League matchup against Tottenham this coming weekend. Doucoure, who has scored six goals this season, has been an important member of Sean Dyche’s team.

The French midfielder was not present when the Toffees lost last night’s Carabao Cup quarterfinal match to Fulham on penalties. The 30-year-old won’t be ready to play when Everton visits Tottenham on Saturday, according to Dyche’s confirmation.

“Probably not at the weekend but going forward, we’re hopeful,” Dyche stated. As you are all aware, he is extremely fit, and based on both my observations and his, his body appears to be a good healer, so we’re hopeful it set

It’s unknown when Doucoure will make a comeback after suffering a hamstring injury during last weekend’s 2-0 Premier League victory at Burnley. Vitalii Mykolenko’s availability is another problem Everton is dealing with after he missed his second straight game due to injury.

Ashley Young and Seamus Coleman have also missed games recently, which has caused a bit of an injury crisis at Goodison Park. “The next three days are going to be really important,” Dyche said when asked which players might return against Spurs.

“We’ll check to make sure nothing from tonight is present. Naturally, we’ll see because we’re a little overextended.”

Regarding Brennan Johnson’s fitness, Ange Postecoglou has received a major boost for the Spurs. In encouraging news, Sky Sports reported that Johnson, who sustained a head injury during the victory over Nottingham Forest last weekend, was seen in training earlier today.

The report said, “The good news is that Brennan Johnson is out there (in training).” “On Friday night, he left the game against his former club after 20 minutes.

After the match, Ange Postecoglou stated that there was only a deep cut and no concussion. Thus, it is encouraging to see Brennan Johnson in public.
