Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, is reportedly closely monitoring Conor Gallagher’s circumstances at Chelsea, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Over the past few months, there has been a lot of news about the England midfielder. Rumours that he was considering leaving Chelsea in the summer have persisted until the January transfer window. Tottenham is intrigued, according to Romano.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Ange Postecoglou of Tottenham is a huge supporter of Conor Gallagher of Chelsea.

When the summer transfer window came to an end, Tottenham was rumoured to be interested in signing Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher.

GiveMeSport reported at the time that the Blues rejected a deal of £40 million made by Spurs to sign the midfield player.

Under Mauricio Pochettino, Gallagher remained at Chelsea and has been a vital member of the team. Other than the match against Manchester United, which resulted in a suspension, he has participated in every match this season. Nonetheless, he might be sold in January.

Gallagher’s future is still up in the air, according to Fabrizio Romano, but Tottenham is keeping a watch on him since Ange Postecoglou, their manager, is a huge fan of the midfielder, who is valued at £50 million, and wants to buy him next month.

“Mauricio Pochettino is happy with him, but now the player and club have to decide what they want to do,” the journalist said in his Daily Briefing. As of right now, a new contract has not been agreed upon, and should a significant offer come up, Chelsea might consider selling Conor.

“Due to Ange Postecoglou’s intense admiration for the player, Tottenham continues to monitor this matter closely.”

Gallagher is a perfect match for Tottenham.

We can understand why Ange Postecoglou wants to bring Conor Gallagher to Tottenham next month because he is an extremely talented player.

The Englishman is only 23 years old at this point. He has the ability to create opportunities and score goals, is superb with the ball, and can move forward when in possession. A system based on attack would suit him well.

In the upcoming years, Gallagher has the ability to become as one of the Premier League’s best midfield players, and if he signs with Spurs, we believe he has what it takes to be a true star under Postecoglou.

It’s unclear, though, if Chelsea would be open to selling Gallagher to Tottenham.
