Despite playing outside of his natural position, Archie Grey continued his amazing form on the right side of Leeds United’s defence as Leeds defeated Ipswich today. Yannick Bolasie has lauded the player.

 

Two of our four goals came from Gray’s runs forward for Leeds’ fourth and his winning of the ball back before feeding George Rutter for the second. One more outstanding performance.

 

Before Leif Davis scored an own goal on his return to Elland Road, Pascal Struijk gave Leeds the lead with his fourth of the year. Joel Piroe made it four after a penalty was scored by Crysencio Summerville.

 

Grey, who is just 17 years old, is still quite good in a lot of areas.The England U20 youngster is one of four targets that Borussia Dortmund has designated as a “major” goal ahead of the January transfer window.

 

The child, who will turn eighteen in three months, turned to Instagram following yet another fantastic ninety minutes. 80% successful passing, two interceptions, two shots, and a 6.93 WhoScored rating.

Even today, the Leeds teenager continues to receive a lot of acclaim.Andy Hinchcliffe of Sky Sports show gave the Whites star a lot of credit. He will be a crucial component of the promotion push going forward.

 

Farke is getting a headache from Grey. Sam Byram will undoubtedly start on the left side of defence once he is well, but will Djed Spence go to right back? Is Grey going to remain on the team?

 

Bolasie faced Grey on his Swansea debut during our 3-1 victory at Elland Road; the two were seen chatting following the game. Bolasie updated Gray’s Instagram account with a star emoji.
