Radu Dragusin emphasized that he is still focused on doing well for Genoa this season, but acknowledging that it is good to hear that teams like Tottenham Hotspur are paying attention to his performances.

With Genoa’s promotion, Dragusin made the smooth transition from Serie B to the first division; their 21-year-old center-back is undoubtedly among the finest in Italy this year.

The former Juventus player is among the defenders at the top of Tottenham’s January wishlist, according to many reports published by various outlets over the past few weeks (The Athletic).

According to several sources (including TMW), Spurs “have an offer ready” for the Romanian international, who Genoa reportedly values at €30 million (£26 million).

Fabrizio Romano disclosed a few days ago that Johan Lange, Tottenham’s technical director, had just visited Italy to observe the center-back in action.

Not only are Spurs rumored to be interested in the Genoa star, but Atalanta (Il Bianconero) is also believed to be keeping an eye on him.

Radu Dragusin discusses rumors surrounding Tottenham.
The youthful defender has now responded to the rumors circulating about his future, stating that they will not cause him to lose focus on his current tasks at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

In response to inquiries concerning rumors of interest from Tottenham and Genoa, Dragusin said to the Romanian website Sport.ro: “It’s a nice feeling to know that what you do, you do well, and other teams notice this.”

However, I don’t take this personally. My objective is to improve as much as I can at Genoa and have the best season possible.

If a deal for the Nice star proves problematic, I think Tottenham has chosen Dragusin as their key replacement for Jean-Clair Todibo. Spurs should have little trouble closing the deal given the reasonable asking price for the 21-year-old.
