It appears like West Ham United has decided significantly on midfielder Conor Coventry’s future before the January transfer market opens.

Since he was a small child, Conor Coventry has been associated with West Ham, and there have been rumors that the team may not extend his contract at the conclusion of the current campaign.

It should come as no surprise considering that the 23-year-old has only made 10 appearances for the Hammers (Transfermarkt) in his five and a half years of playing for the main squad!

This season, he has not played a single minute, and it is obvious that he is no longer even considered a fringe player for the team.

Since David Moyes doesn’t have a lot of choices for center midfield, Coventry’s lack of playing time this season is a terrible reflection on his status at the London Stadium.

Furthermore, it appears that the West Ham manager intends to get rid of the midfield player before his summer contract expires.

At West Ham, Conor Coventry finishes up.

The 23-year-old will be permitted to leave the team during the January transfer window, according to Claret and Hugh.

For everyone concerned, Coventry leaving West Ham this winter will be the best thing to happen.

It’s obvious that he isn’t talented enough to play in the Premier League, but he will undoubtedly make a respectable career for himself in the Championship with a team.

I think the Hammers should have sold the Republic of Ireland under-21 international a long time ago.

Conor Coventry is a waste of time at West Ham, and his current inclusion in our squad is completely pointless.

It remains to be seen, though, if we can secure a fee for him in January. It seems more likely, in my opinion, that he will depart the team in the summer on a free transfer.
