According to HITC Football, West Ham United has received an offer to sign Steven Bergwijn, a forward who is currently with Ajax and was formerly with Tottenham Hotspur.

After a few unsuccessful seasons at Tottenham Hotspur, where he only managed to score eight goals and dish out ten assists in 83 appearances, Steven Bergwijn has found success at Ajax.

But since returning to the Eredivisie with Ajax, the Dutch powerhouse, the winger has made 65 appearances, scored 24 goals, and been a reliable threat up top.

But thanks to reports indicating that Bergwijn is open to returning to England, the Dutchman may soon be returning to the Premier League.

Given that the winger is among the club’s highest paid players and the Dutch giants have had a terrible season, they may be amenable to him leaving.

Not just David Moyes’s team is enamored with the Dutchman. If the Dutchman becomes available, it is believed that Crystal Palace, Brentford, Fulham, Wolves, and Sean Dyche’s Everton would all be interested in signing him.

Bergwijn is a player who West Ham could really need to bolster their offense, which has already scored an amazing 33 goals in the Premier League this year.

Given that Bergwijn is reportedly a player the Hammers like, one could question whether a deal could be made in January. whether so, it would be quite the coup.

Bergwijn might be a good choice.

The Dutch winger showed some encouraging traits while playing for Tottenham, but he was in and out of the squad under Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.

The Hammers’ Lucas Paqueta and James Ward-Prowse might line up behind Bergwijn, which would give the Dutch winger the support he needs to score goals for the London team.

Bergwijn has been offered to the Hammers, though it’s uncertain if a deal can be worked out.
