Spurs supporters are currently anxiously awaiting an official statement from the team, which will definitively prove that the 21-year-old is a Spur.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano has revealed on X the shirt number that Dragusin is reportedly expected to receive at N17.

The transfer insider claims that he will start for the Spurs as number 6.

Spurs’ unclaimed shirt number six indicates that Dragusin will likely play a key role in the team right away.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s report on Wednesday, Dragusin will cost Genoa approximately £21.5 million up front, with an additional £4.3 million in add-ons. Spurs will receive this amount from Genoa.

The former Juventus player makes slightly less than £50,000 a week at Spurs, or about £2.6 million annually.

Spurs are expected to add another outstanding Serie A player.

At last, Tottenham will welcome a much-needed centre back into their squad. After the injuries to Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero, this is vitally crucial.

Hopefully, the crucial official announcement won’t be delayed much longer. Dragusin and Timo Werner, two fresh additions to the first team, will enter through that door.

In recent years, Tottenham has had great success with players from Serie A. Guglielmo Vicario, Rodrigo Bentancur, Cristian Romero, Dejan Kulusevski, and Destiny Udogie have all developed into key players for the Spurs.

As one of the most highly regarded young defenders in Italian football, let’s hope Dragusin continues to do what he is doing.
