Kerem Akturkoglu has been linked to Leeds United on a regular basis this month, but the Whites now face fierce competition from Tottenham, Arsenal, and West Ham for his services.

With 16 goals and 16 assists in 30 appearances for Galatasaray this season, 25-year-old Akturkoglu has been a standout player for the Turkish team. Two of those were against Manchester United in the Champions League.

There were rumours earlier this month that Akturkoglu was about to leave Galastarasay and that Leeds was trying to sign the attacker. It follows the December linking of Leeds and Lazio.

Following a meeting on Wednesday, Ajax is rumoured to have made a proposal of £13 million for Akturkoglu this week. Yet, Gala is willing to pay up to £17.25 million for the Turkish singer. More English teams are now vying for his signature.

According to Football Transfers, London clubs Tottenham, Arsenal, and West Ham are as eager to sign the playmaker as Ajax or Leeds. Takvim declared his desire to go to English football.

Now, Kerem Akturkoglu of Leeds is a target for Tottenham and Arsenal.

So, where does Akturkoglu perform best? Given that West Ham is trying to recruit Steven Bergwijn, signing with Ajax would be a great move for him. This suggests that Akturkoglu would be better off moving to West Ham.

However, the former Tottenham flyer appears to be the Hammers’ main focus. Though it seems unlikely that Akturkoglu would struggle to start, Arsenal and Spurs would be significant moves for him. Would he go to Leeds? Not really.

Not while Leeds is in the second division; in fact, a transfer would be challenging given the two teams’ history. His best bet this month would be to stay put or sign with Ajax or West Ham.
