Journalist Sami Mokbel has reported on his impressions of Ange Postecoglou’s true feelings among the Tottenham Hotspur peripheral players.
After joining Spurs in the summer, Ange Postecoglou wasted no time in grabbing the attention of the supporters.
Unquestionably, one of the Premier League’s best clubs to watch is Tottenham. And despite losing so many important players to injury and international action during the season, they have performed amazingly well to maintain themselves within striking distance of the top four.

And Postecoglou’s success in the first few months of the season might have been largely attributed to keeping the whole team together.

It’s amazing how each new player appears to fit right in with the team and contribute right away. And maybe his ability to manage men has a lot to do with that.
Journalist Mokbel stated on the Last Word on Spurs podcast that all members of the team want the best for Postecoglou, which isn’t typically the case with opposing teams.
In many of the interactions and talks I’ve had about Tottenham this season, and Ange’s approach to players, even the players who are on the fringes of the squad and who would typically be unhappy with the way they’ve been treated, absolutely love him because he’s just a straight up and down guy. It’s not just the players that he uses that are responding to his methods and just how he is as a guy. He simply tells them, “Look, I understand that you’re upset that you’re not participating.” And these are the explanations for your non-participation,” he stated.
Based on what I’ve been told, Ange Postecoglou is a straight-arrow. He is truthful. He continued, “And even to the extent that the players that he isn’t playing for want him to succeed.
On-field performances indicate how cohesive the Spurs team is.
Of fact, the outside world knows very little about the daily operations at Hotspur Way. However, based on the performances of those who have joined, Postecoglou has everyone pulling in the same direction.
Over the weekend, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg performed admirably in a quiet way. Furthermore, this season, when he has entered the team, he has never let the club down.
