German media respond to Eric Dier’s debut for Bayern Munich following his departure from Tottenham Hotspur

After joining from Tottenham Hotspur, Eric Dier made his Bayern Munich debut on Wednesday night by coming off the bench against Union Berlin.

Spurs’ last game was a 2-2 draw against Manchester United, thus they haven’t played in 11 days.

Spurs are working hard to get ready for their FA Cup comeback against Manchester City on Friday, where Ange Postecoglou is allegedly planning Pep Guardiola’s demise.

Although they probably can’t wait for more “Angeball,” Tottenham fans might have had a glimpse of one recently sold player on Wednesday night.

Following Tottenham’s departure, German media respond to Eric Dier’s Bayern Munich debut.

After replacing the injured Dayot Upamecano at halftime, Eric Dier made his Bayern Munich debut against Union Berlin by coming off the bench.

The center defender was just permitted to depart Spurs earlier this month, which made it possible for him and Harry Kane to reunite.

Radu Dragusin was signed by Tottenham from Genoa, and the club was pleased to see Dier go because he didn’t fit into Postecoglou’s plans.

Dier gives Bayern’s defense more depth, and he was used last night in a 1-0 victory over Union at home, playing 45 minutes.

Dier’s performance, which helped Bayern maintain a clean sheet in a vital win, appeared to have impressed the German media to some extent.

Dier received a rating of three out of five from the German TV channel, where one represents the best and five represents the lowest.

After the interval, the Tottenham winter transfer took Upamecano’s spot in center defense. A little while later, he made his introduction with a strong tackle. After that, he made a safe debut performance, scarcely seeing any opposition from the visitors’ attack.

As they evaluated the former Spurs player’s “solid” debut, Tageszeitung and Spox both chose a three-out-of-five score.

Abendzeitung gave Dier the exact same grade, commending him for thwarting Union striker Chris Bedia’s opportunity.

Dier, an English central defender, made his Bayern debut after replacing the injured Upamecano in the second half. Good effort; Chris Bedia made a save in the penalty area.

Sport gave Dier the lowest possible score of 3.5 and said that, given how little he had played for Tottenham this season, he appeared a touch rusty.

made his debut in the second half of the Bundesliga. Undoubtedly provided some momentum with the behind-the-back ball. They wrote, “He clearly lacked competition experience in duels.

While Kane, the England striker, was having trouble making an impression versus Union, some of their ratings were actually better than his own.

Upamecano’s injury is likely to keep him out for weeks and that means Dier may now be prepared for a run in the Bayern side.

Bayern’s next opponents are Augsburg and Monchengladbach, but before that, on February 10th, they play a crucial title match against Leverkusen. Dier will need to be at the top of his game in the upcoming weeks since this is his chance to shine.
