Over the weekend, a Tottenham player performed “flawlessly and reliably” proving the Spurs incorrect by demonstrating his abilities

Despite his best efforts, Eric Dier was unable to persuade Ange Postecoglou to play him at Tottenham, therefore the England international was free to sign with Bayern Munich during the January transfer window.

Six months from the conclusion of his Spurs contract, the agreement was unusual because he came on loan, with bonuses available to the Premier League team depending on a number of variables.

Tottenham hasn’t looked back since, integrating well into Thomas Tuchel’s plans in Bavaria. Frankfurter Rundschau has praised the team, and they will start against Borussia Mönchengladbach once more.

According to the newspaper, the defender has “attracted attention” for his performances against Gladbach and Augsburg, where he was “error-free and reliable.”

He “impressed with a strong performance” during the weekend, giving instructions to everyone in his vicinity, demonstrating his “robust” fighting style, and carrying out his duties “flawlessly and reliably.”

Put simply, he is demonstrating to Tottenham what a player he can become when you believe in him and putting forth a compelling argument for himself to continue starting for Bayern Munich in the future.

After Dayot Upamecano and Kim Min-jae return, it will be interesting to see if he still gets a shot, but Dier made it quite evident after the Gladbach victory that he won’t back down.

“I always want to play, no matter where I am,” he declared. I was eager to play when I arrived, and I had the chance to in the last two games.
