Giovani Lo Celso has expressed his desire to leave Tottenham, and even though the English transfer window closed last week, a move to Galatasaray is still possible.

That’s what Turkey’s Yeni Asir claims.

What’s new with Giovani Lo Celso at Tottenham, then? Let’s examine this.

Tottenham is where Lo Celso wants to go.

Galatasaray has reportedly made an approach for the Argentina international, according to Yeni Asir.

According to the Turkish news source, Lo Celso is eager to transfer to Galatasaray from N17 because he isn’t getting much playing time under Ange Postecoglou.

The South American has only made four Premier League starts for Spurs so far this season.

Galatasaray has until Friday, February 9th, to sign the player for £100,000-per-week, as the Turkish transfer window is still open.

As Carlos Vinicius and Serge Aurier relocate to Turkey, Okan Buruk has already signed two players who will be familiar to Tottenham supporters. Lo Celso is now being pursued by Galatasaray as they look to win the Süper Lig.

This season, the Argentine has made ten appearances in the Premier League, totaling two goals and two assists. Recently, he paid tribute to Cristian Romero.

Lo Celso would undoubtedly settle into Galatasaray with ease.

The Turkish powerhouses appear determined to assemble one of the poorest Tottenham teams in recent memory, for whatever reason.

In addition to the previously mentioned Aurier and Vinicius, Tanguy Ndombele and Davinson Sanchez also presently play football at RAMS Park on behalf of Galatasaray.

Because there are many familiar faces to aid with Lo Celso’s acclimatization, if a move does occur before Friday, he should have no trouble settling in at Galatasaray.

If Yeni Asir are to be believed, the Tottenham No. 18 may depart north London this week, so be sure to keep a watch on the issue.
