The ‘great’ star of Bayern Munich will miss several weeks of action due to injury ahead of their match against Arsenal in the CL.

Following the international break, Arsenal will play Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarterfinals.

On April 9, the Gunners take on the Bavarian powerhouses at Emirates Stadium; the second leg is scheduled for April 17.

Arsenal will be keen to defeat a team that has historically defeated them in the later stages of the Champions League.

It now appears like Bayern will be without one of their January acquisitions for several weeks, possibly including the match against Arsenal.

Sacha Boey will miss the “upcoming weeks” of action due to a muscular injury sustained during training, the club informed on their official website.

Arsenal and Bayern Munich’s star were previously linked. Boey, Sacha.

Boey was connected to Arsenal for a large portion of last year, but they decided against moving further with the Frenchman, and Bayern signed him in the end.

Sadly, injuries has plagued the 23-year-old during his first few months at his new club.

He has only made two appearances for Thomas Tuchel’s team thus far this season after missing many games earlier in the year due to muscular problems.

Boey will undoubtedly improve, though, once his injury problems are behind him. He has a great ceiling as a full-back and is really talented.

Last year, Target Scouting said of him, “he is a player with the potential to go anywhere.”

They also called Boey a “very interesting player” and noted that his “competitive attitude is impeccable.”

Remarkably, a year ago, Boey was referred to as “amazing” by Arsenal cult hero Bacary Sagna, who pushed the Gunners to recruit him.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem probable that the Frenchman will play against a team that had the opportunity to sign him and show them what they’ve been missing out on.
