Declan Rice, a star player for Arsenal, made history on Tuesday night when he captained the Three Lions for the first time during their 2-2 draw with Belgium and collected his 50th England cap.

The midfielder revealed on Monday that he was “speechless” when Gareth Southgate informed him he would have the armband for Tuesday night’s game at Wembley. Playing fifty appearances for England at the age of 25 is outstanding.

James Corden and music sensation Harry Styles hosted a celebration to honor Rice’s accomplishments, and the Arsenal player was there along with a number of his England colleagues.

The Daily Mail claims that the famous couple celebrated at the A-list hangout Chiltern Firehouse, where they partied with Rice until four in the morning before leaving.

Jude Bellingham, James Maddison, and Jordan Henderson were also seen there, but given that Arsenal plays Man City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, Rice might encounter some criticism.

Is it appropriate that Declan Rice was having fun before a crucial Arsenal game?

Declan Rice has every right to celebrate since Tuesday night was a momentous one in his career.

Even if the match at the Etihad is still five days away, some Arsenal supporters might not enjoy that he stayed up till four in the morning just days before the Gunners play Man City in a match that might have a significant impact on the Premier League title battle.

The midfield player would not have been out partying, and staying up that late is not unlike from what happens when a South American player has to return to England following an international break.

The 25-year-old has been brilliant for Mikel Arteta’s squad this season, and as the North London team looks to secure their spot at the top of the Premier League, he will be expected to maintain that form on Sunday.
